About Split PDF
Splitting works in three modes, and picking the right one saves you time. "All Pages" is a one-click way to explode a document into one file per page. "Page Range" is for when you know exactly which pages you want — type something like "1-3, 5, 7-9" and only those pages come out, in that order. "Every N Pages" is the one people usually don't know exists: instead of typing out ranges by hand, you just say "every 5 pages" and the tool cuts the document into equal chunks automatically — handy for splitting a long scanned batch into fixed-size sections without doing the arithmetic yourself.
Whichever mode you use, splitting is non-destructive — the source document is never modified, and every extracted page is a byte-for-byte copy of the original page's content, not a re-render. When the result is more than one file, everything is packaged into a single ZIP archive so you get one download instead of a dozen.
Key Features
- "All Pages" mode — instantly extract every page as its own file
- "Page Range" mode — enter ranges and single pages together, e.g. "1-3, 5, 7-9"
- "Every N Pages" mode — auto-chunk a document into equal-sized sections without manual math
- Extracted pages are exact copies of the original — no quality loss, no re-rendering
- No page count limit — split a 500-page manual just as easily as a 10-page report
Tips for Best Results
- 1 To pull out a single page, use Page Range mode and enter just that number, e.g. "5".
- 2 Splitting a long scanned batch into equal-sized sections? Use "Every N Pages" instead of manually typing every range.
- 3 Use "All Pages" when you need every page as an individually shareable file, like distributing meeting minutes page-by-page.
- 4 After splitting, use Merge PDF to recombine selected pages in a new order to create a custom-assembled document.
