You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are 13 or older.

1.2 Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful personal and commercial purposes, including processing PDF files you own or have authorisation to process.

1.3 Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload, process, or distribute files containing illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, content that infringes intellectual property rights, or content that promotes violence or terrorism
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise the security of the Service
  • Use automated bots or scrapers to make large volumes of API calls without prior written consent
  • Upload malicious files, including viruses, trojans, or malware
  • Circumvent usage limits or access controls
  • Resell or sublicence the Service without written authorisation
  • Impersonate any person or entity

We reserve the right to terminate access immediately for violations.

2. Intellectual Property

2.1 Your Files

You retain full ownership of all files you upload to the Service. By uploading, you grant us a temporary, limited licence to process those files solely to provide the Service. This licence terminates when the files are deleted (within 1 hour of upload).

2.2 Our Service

ToolsofPDF and all associated software, design, trademarks, and content are the intellectual property of ToolsofPDF. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

3. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

4. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation
  • The accuracy or reliability of any results produced

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ToolsofPDF shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed USD $10 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

  • Your uploaded content

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
